Hey guys (and gals). Hopefully this forum will clear up any confusion over the organization and Ultimate Stang Challenge.

The Basics:

The Ultimate Stang Challenge (USC) is an online contest hosted by StangPlanet and sponsored by Saleen in which users show off their Mustangs with photos and specs to sway votes in their direction. Whoever attains the most votes wins: it is a battle of persuasion.

You must fill out a USC Submission Form to eligibly compete in the USC.

The Ultimate Stang Challenge involves 16 contenders chosen by the StangPlanet staff after reviewing their submission forms.

Each week, a "battle" begins between two selected contenders. Battles begin and end at 12 noon (Pacific) every week.

There will be three rounds and a Final Battle. 8 battles in Round I, 4 battles in Round II, 2 battles in Round III and a Final Battle, whose winner takes home the $2,500 prize.

You've already explained this to me, but I think a lot of people are still wondering: when I submit my form, where does it go on the site??

When you click "Submit Query" on the submission form, it goes directly to the entire StangPlanet staff. The submission does not appear on the site. You will, however, receive a confirmation e-mail that your entry was submitted. Great question.

Hey YouLost. The confirmation e-mail is confirming that you have been entered into the USC and that we have received the entry to review.

While I wish you the best of luck in getting chosen, you aren't automatically an official "contender" until you receive an e-mail from me saying you've been chosen by the team.

Hi Marlon. We'll have 16 cars, 8 cars in the 1st round. Currently we're in the 6th battle (6th week), so two more weeks until the 2nd round begins. We will have a bracket up showing all of this. I am pretty sure we will have the winners of the 1st and 2nd battle against each other and so on. Hope this helps.

Is it possible to update info on the profile once it is posted for the USC? I recorded a new best at the 1/4 mile yesterday.

Actually I had a 10.991 but the printer was off line so i can't prove that. I'll stick with what I can prove.

I don't understand the results of the 3rd pair of cars, Reaper and Spawn. It looks like Spawn had more votes but Reaper is the winner?
