Hi, My car's name is Maureen, i named it for this contest, i worked for over 1 year on the unholstery electrical and the engine, and did it all without a lift at home, from a pile of junk, and I cannot help but wonder why a stock blue 2006 or 07 is neck and neck with me?

Please don't take this offensively. I think your car is great and I understand restoring a car from junk and maintaining a classic beauty (I own "Jane" who was knocked out in Round 7). But "The Babe" newbie is far from stock with all the money he put into it so far. I used to get ticked when I lose car shows to these new stangs I felt were rewarded for having bought a great packaged car. Then I realized after speaking with some, that they put more money in these new stangs for more horsepower or some need to make them unique and potentially collectible down the road. Eventually these newbies will be classics too. Good news is you made it through round one (I didn't). Keep in mind that these contests unfortunatly are based on who knows more people to vote. Good luck-I think you do have a fantastic (and I know desirable) car you brought back to life there

Looks like I'm that "stock" blue 2006 you're referring to.
I love your car man, and all the work you've done on it.
I wish I had that talent.
I also wish I could put the power adders into my car that I want but can't afford.
So I keep adding a little here and there, a mix of cosmetic and performance.
This is my first Stang, and I'm hooked, big time.
If you manage to pull out the win against my car, I will root for you the rest of the way.
