Ultimate Stang Challenge Rules

Overview: The Ultimate Stang Challenge brings enthusiasts together to rate one another’s Mustangs. You can win by persuading users with a variety of credentials for you car. Why does your Mustang look the best? What’s under the hood? What kind of modifications does your Stang have? The contest will act as a general gauge of the Mustang community’s opinion on what the “it” factor is for Mustangs.

1. The Ultimate Stang Challenge 3: Classics Edition will feature Classic body Mustangs only. We apologize to non-classic owners who have previously submitted. Existing submissions without classic bodies will be held until the next contest in a few months.
   
2. Users can enter the USC by creating a thread with their information (see official entry format.) Please attach at least two photos of your Mustang to your thread to be considered for the contest.
   
3. Once the contest has secured enough entries, a bracket will be created (view past bracket), pairing off eight Mustangs every week (four one-on-one heats).
   
4. Heats begin at 12:00pm (Noon Pacific) every Monday, ending the following Monday at the same time. At the end of each heat, the four Mustangs with the most votes against their opponents will move on, while the four Mustangs with less votes will retire to the USC Contenders forum to have their vehicle’s photos and specs showcased.
5. Only StangPlanet users can enter the contest, and only StangPlanet users can vote. People may only vote once! Duplicate IP addresses will be heavily monitored and investigated by our administrators. Contenders with significant votes from such fraudulent usernames may risk expulsion.
6. Users who have won past Ultimate Stang Challenges will not be eligible for future contests, regardless of how many Mustangs they own. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but this would not be fair to other users. Users who have competed but have not won are still eligible.
   
7. An official prize has yet to be announced for the USC 3: Classics Edition, but it will feature a variety of products from the nation’s top Classic body Mustangs retailers. We realize this part is important, so we’re making it good—really good.

We had been tossing around the idea for awhile because we've had some really nice classics get stomped by s197s.

Setting USCs up by platform will be a chance to level the playing field. And sponsors are more intrigued by niche-based contests like this.
