Question stock time

a friend of mine has a 1988 gt 5.0, and we were just trying to find the stock 1/4 mile time for it and every single site we have looked at has different information....so if somone knows the stock time let me know.

Mid 14's is what most stocks run with a manual. Short belt, 93 octane and more timing will get them in the high 13's with traction. Gotta love foxes.

14.5+ i know if you check out the gt registry, i think its like gtregistry.org or sumtin. they have some times from the big magazines when the cars were new. the 90-92 5spd lx coupes were the fastest thouhgh. and they were mid 14's. but 15 years later... hard to say.

Try Motortrend, they're the ones that do all the "0 to 60" stuff for new cars and might have something archived...
