sound from lowering?

Hate to trouble you guys with what could be a dumb question but would love some input from you. If there is a thread about this already please direct me to it

I have just lowered my 07 with Eibach prokit along with placing 20's on. Now I seem to have a sound that my kid says sounds like a cricket from the right front. We did notice that the strut mount was installed the opposite way so we took it off and adjusted but the sound is still there. Truly sounds like is coming from the rotor/brake pad area. It makes the sound at any speed and can be heard sometimes just by lifting the car and spinning the wheel by hand so I do not believe it is the spring unless someone here tells me it is
Thanks for any input guys

hmmmm not sure--have you actually taken the wheels off?

i recently had the same issue w/ my 05 w/ a wild sound like that. took her in the dealer and they had no idea. took her to another one, and they had no idea either, but somehow the sound was gone. apparently they had just taken the wheels off...apparently something had fallen out. a cricket perhaps?

hope that helps....

Actually have taken the wheel off at least 4-5 times since and the strut back off 3 times now ( gonna have to get an alignment again ). Same sound though.....maybe I should drive it like I stole it and see what happens?
