Supercharger or Twin Turbo?

I have an 07 mustang GT/CS and I want to either supercharge or twin turbo it. I have heard good things and bad things about both. I want to know what my best option is. Thanks.

There is allot to consider here... Will you build your block of keep it stock?

Stock, you'll have more fun with a S/C being it makes more TQ on the bottom end of the R's.

Built, I'd go TT's. Small Turbos make TQ but Big Turbo's make Hp on the big end....

Either way, it will be fun to drive!! Good luck and keep us updated!!

That is not necessarily true.

The STS twin turbo kit (which is what we are running on our Twisted shop car) has the lowest intake temperatures and engine bay temperatures of ANY forced induction setup, this is due to the remote mounting of the turbos behind the rear axle where the mufflers used to be.

And for those that are worried about turbo lag, there virtually is none. The car is bossting at about 2400-2500 RPM and just pulls like a freight train making 463rwhp and 482rwtq on only 7psi and 91 oct.

You might also consider the single turbo kit currently available from Hellion. Check out their site, you may like what you see.

Hellion Power Systems

*edit - stupid link was really long, sorry...

Impressive. I would venture to say the STS sounds like an exception to the norm

STS Turbo - Squires Twin Turbo System 05-07 Mustang GT - Wild Pony Motorsports
the price for the STS TT is about 7.5k. so unless you want big power and building your block, i would stick w/ a single turbo or a SC.
