My girlfriend has an 02 GT and ever since she bought it last year it's never easy to put it into 5th gear its like throwing off your momentoum when shifting I mean it goes in without any problems but it just need an extra push to get in there. Is this normal for 02 GT's or any other mustangs without the T56?
i have a different transmission than your girlfriend but mine kinda seems like it has the same problem i think its because of the aftermarket shifter i have on my car. is hers the stock shifter? mine isnt really hard to push into fifth but its just kinda uncomfortable to throw it in there. seems like i have to reach farther than i should.
