I got some spare money, and was able to get some bolt on parts I wanted. plenum, t/b (70mm), intake, MAF (85mm), Pro 5.0 shifter. I have ordered o/r x-pipes.

What should be my next step other than gears?

You should get some gears regardless, they make the biggest difference in the world. You could get a catback, sct 2 tune, Radials, but I say gears even though you said "other than gears".
