I have had my 427R since Dec of 06. I sold my 2001 GT to by this awesome Stang I would not trade it for a Cobra or a Saleen. Even through it may not be the fastest Stang out there it sure can beat alot. I didnot buy this just to be the fastest, the Roush looks better, sounds better and for the price I paid for it(42,500.00) I got plenty for my buck. Now when I priced the Saleen Extreme(55,000.00+) and The SVT Cobra(60,000.00+) I just could not see me paying that much more just to be faster. If I want in 08 Jack Roush is going to produce a limited amount of his new 151A Mustang that produces 515hp with his Roots style S/C and all that you get in a Stage 3 pkg. Of course they tear down and rebuild the interals so that you dont blow out your 4.6 3 valve, and who else would you trust to git the job done right but the Jack Roush team. I know I sound like I am on the band wagon for Jack Roush only but I am not. I like all types and years of Mustangs. I just think that having Jack Roush in addition to Carrol Shelby, Foose, Parnelli Jones,Saleen and others is a Great variety for Mustang Owners So lets just enjoy what everyone else looks at(Our Mustangs) 427Roushman

I have the roushcharger on mine and it feels very good and powerful till you realize any other s/c is capable of way more hp..I dynoed it at 375RWHP with 374torque. I upgraded to the smaller pulley and can't really feel much difference. At the track with stock tires it is only good for 13.5 ....not too impressive. I was spinning first and second but still expected to hit the 12s.

Ditch the roush idea-- go w/ a GT and go CRAZY w/ mods. The Mustang was meant to be customized...so why not DIY?
