Last Christmas, I enjoyed all of the usual company the season brings with it—the homemade wassail, door-to-door carolers and Mustang coffee table books. Okay, that last category wasn’t quite included in the festivities, but boy do I wish it was.
But we enthusiasts are in luck. This year’s holiday season will be ripe with ponified reading material. Two new Ford Mustang books have just been released and are bound to ensure a quality distraction from that annoying cousin who won’t stop asking you to humor his child.
One is fittingly titled
The Complete Book of the Mustang, by Mike Mueller. The book offers a surprisingly comprehensive look at the Ford Mustang’s many prototypes, experimental models and the special edition installments that have helped build the Mustang name to its legendary status.
The other, John Clor’s
The Mustang Dynasty, is more approachable for the enthusiast looking for a broader outlook of the Mustang’s history. It includes an in-depth look into every primary model from the inception of the pony car in ’64 to the current classics.
So whether you need a pleasant distraction or a book that will ‘unite’ the family under one common interest (yours), be sure to check out these titles at your nearest book retailer.
