With a constant buzz surrounding Ford’s 2009 and 2010 releases, it’s always nice to hear a little something from the aftermarket guys. Well, this weekend, Roush will be unveiling their first special edition vehicle for the 2009 year: the limited edition Roush RTC Edition Mustang.
The two-toned ponies are essentially repainted coupe versions of the
Roush Roadsters, which also feature two tones.
What that also means is that the package comes complete with a 4-piece Roush Aero Body kit, a Roush Billet Aluminum Shifter Handle with grips, Roush Lowering Springs and Jounce Bumpers and custom RTC 20” wheels. Of course, Roush topped it all off with an RTC serialized engine bay plaque. But check out a full listing of the accessories that come with the RTC Mustang in the first reply below.
The RTC Mustang will be available in both automatic and stick, but the biggest decision consumers will have to make is whether to option up to the chromed out 430hp ROUSHcharger. The vehicle comes with a variety of other options, also listed below.
Official unveiling ceremonies for the 2009 Roush RTC Mustang package will take place at the Nationals this weekend in Dublin, Ohio.
Only 200 of these sharp-looking coupes will be produced. While that seems like the normal drill for Roush, the limited run may also be attributed to Ford’s decision to
limit the Mustang to just 45,000 units for the 2009 year.
