Agree about the boss program but wasn't that where the 5.0 etc and the new 6.8 was being developed? Could be wrong sometimes when you read so much of this stuff you begin to lose it. All I know is the might engines from Ford are being put on hold.
Once again though if we spend enough and do the right work with aftermarket stuff we will maintain our street respect BUT don't ever believe it won't be long until the aftermarket boys go after the Camero and Challenger owners with easy horsepower for $$$.

this is inevitable...but do you think that big boys like saleen will have camero/challenger products, or just a bunch of no-name companies?

Don't forget what Shelby did when Ford p'd him off he build Chrysler Shelby's. Saleen will probably stay as they have just commited to a full Ford race program. A lot I think depends on Ford itself besides GM could always supply their own after market stuff through their SS program as could Chrysler but it will happen.

It just puts a lot of pressure on the street boys that "if you can't bark with the big dogs stay off the porch". How many times now do you have some moron pull up beside you at a light let alone when they will have enough power to match you.
