To prepare the locals in Palm Beach for their colossal presence this coming weekend, Barrett-Jackson and Ford Motor Company teamed up this past Saturday to host their first ever Cruise-In and Open Car Show. The show was held at Wayne Akers Ford in Lake Worth, Florida.
Barrett-Jackson execs Steve Davis and Gary Bennett made their round throughout the show, chatting with guests and owners and distributing the coveted Barrett-Jackson Choice Awards to the cars that made the cut.
The show had a seemingly lukewarm turnout—a mere 167 vehicles—but all were top caliber. It seems the folks at Barrett-Jackson value quality over quantity. Three standouts in attendance were the two KITT cars from the new
Knight Rider remake as well as Roush’s last
P-51A Mustang. Both of those vehicles will make their way across the auction block this weekend at the 6th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event in Palm Beach.
The first annual Barrett-Jackson/Ford Motor Company Cruise-In and Open Car Show benefitted Salute to Education. For more photos of the event, check out the post below.
Be sure to check out this weekend’s 6th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event, March 27-30 at the South Florida Fair Grounds & Expo Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. It's gonna be wild!
