Kevin Grigsby's WickedGT500 wins the USCII!

Remember when we began the Ultimate Stang Challenge II just 17 weeks ago? There were 64 Stangs, and every owner wanted a piece of the $2,500 pie. But only two made it to the championship round—Manowar and WickedGT500. Of course, Manowar was the winner of the first USC and his ability to make it to the championship round the second time around was impressive. Rumor has it that winter aftermarket sales saw a slight boost because USC III contenders were preparing for battle!

But while Manowar rallied tons of support for his cause, WickedGT500 was able to take the USC throne today by only five votes! WickedGT500 is the Ultimate Stang (soon to be improved upon with $2,500!). We’ll have more on the vehicle and its owner, Kevin Grigsby, later this week. Congratulations to both contenders for providing an excellent championship matchup.

Yes, we’re sad to see the USC II go, but today marks the official beginning of the selection process for the USC III! If you haven't yet gotten a part of the action, submit your Stang now! You never know, you could rally enough support to score some cash to buff up your pony car!

Congrats to the winner. I noticed that on the last round and the round before he had votes deducted. I did not think much about it until I was watching the voting. It seems odd to me how his votes seem to keep pace with his opponent, with in a few minutes of their votes being posted his would match them. Like I said did not think much about it except that he had votes taken back in 2 consecutive rounds.

MaNoWaR I love ur ride and what a challenge. I think we had 15 lead changes. I hope we can meet one day. I would love to talk cars with you. Thank you to everyone who supported me and my car through out this entire challenge. I have a ton of mods including a TVS Stage 3 being installed this week so I will be ready when USC III comes around!!!

Bogus Manowar is the true winner of this popularity contest, he didn't use a charity for his own personal gain. Jim's Shelby is clearly the better car. Yes I did get beat by Kevin's car even thou he was deducted 20-30 votes in the final 4, and yes I also had votes taken away, ten I believe. I failed to tell my mustang buddies in the Persian Gulf that they couldn't all vote on the few computers that were available to them..

Oh and I personally know Jim and his wife, they donated their winnings from USC I to a local cause.. Not one word of this generous action was mentioned till after his USC I win. Which proves his to be a honest and true win.

Sadly, the voting ethics in this contest are in question and I hope USC III
fairs a better competition.

thxs Jim.........definetaly a close contest..........I did sent a lot of emails out to a lot of friends.........They all helped a ton.........I am thankful for good friends.......As far as what your friend jiz said, i totally agree.......i had a bunch of people from my corp. vote for me........a lot used the same computer and all votes where deducted, totally sucked.....anyways......Win or lose I was just glad to compete against you..........I will keep you posted on my mods bro.........I put my cervini scoops on tonight and will post pics soon.

I read about the new mods you have coming. So much for giving half to your friend in need. I believe that you sir are a liar and a cheat, by your actions you have proved it. Just remember that Karma is a bitch. To everyone that ehjoys this hobby and their cars, keep doing it for the pure joy of it. That is all the reward/satisfaction you will need. Congratulations to all who in the USC, your cars were all winners in my opinion. We had a problem arise when a couple of people tried to vote with 5 minutes left. Noone could get logged on to vote. When I tried to log on I could not, I just assumed that the server was busy.

First off you dont know me. Yes I am donating half to charity.......Already posted it on Teamshelby......Just cause i buy more mods dont think I spent the winnings from here for them. I am fortunate and pass on to others.........People that judge others they dont even know is disturbing.
