It was a long week for contenders in Heat II of the
Ultimate Stang Challenge, who held their dominant positions until the bitter end. The closest matchup turned out to be between two classics on different ends of their platform’s spectrum—an early ‘64 ½ (Edge Performance) and a ’71 Mach 1 (Maureen). Maureen pulled ahead by several percentage points in the end and will
advance to Round II, along with WickedGT500, DEEZ-67, and The Babe. Thanks to all contenders for a nice heat.
But we must move on to Heat III — one step closer to the $2,500! We have another
interesting collection of Mustang matchups, with a wide range of body types and styles. But who will advance? It’s up to you to vote for the Stang you think is worthy enough to advance to Round II. The polls for this heat will close next Monday, November 12th at noon (Pacific).
