Hood Scoop

I might have recently drove too fast for the hood scoop on my car. The front driver side popped up because the bracket somehow broke. My first question is: do all non-functional hood scoops lift off the hood a little? What would be the best replacement to get and should I just bolt it down? Are there any places with a paint matching service, or maybe just a paint service? Thanks!

those are held down w/ 3m tape, right? idk, i would take it off if it comes off w/ speed. and a paint shop should be able to match the paint.

This one has 4 brackets near each of the corners and it looks like he used some sort of epoxy as well.

could be this silicone stuff, cant think of the name right now, but some came w/ my radiator cover. you may have to just reapply some of that adhesive. or sounds like a good time to upgrade your hood, maybe a cobra R!
