Cobra II

Here's my 1978 Cobra post your thoughts.

I'm the 2nd owner and only has 41K miles.

What I've done; 16x8 Cobra R wheels, Kumho 225/50-16s front/245/50-16s rear, Custom subframe connectors, Custom traction bars, Poly bushings throughout suspension, Racing bucket seats, 4-point harness, Custom rearseat delete (now occupied by stereo), Autometer gauges, B&M Megashifter, B&M shift kit, Edelbrock Perforrmer cam, Crane 1.7 roller rockers, Edelbrock performer intake, Holley 600 vac sec with center float bowls, Hooker headers, 100-amp 1-wire polished alt, polished hi-flow water pump, E7 heads, Custom all red taillights (sequential), Battery reloctaed to rear hatch area in a Taylor box.

Like the rest here it's never ending...

Hooker Super Comp headers into 2.25 pipes with a crossover, Dynomax side exit mufflers ending with 3.5" tips.

Brings back memories. I had a 78 as well but I blew the rear main seal and had to unload it to go away to college. I still love that little car. I have the keys and now my 3yr old carries them around as his car keys still on the original Mustang key chain I bough in HS from K-mart (no jokes!!) I didn't have the cobra or a hatch back but it was a 302 and had gears in it and was a lot quicker than people would think. Nice ride!
