Steve's 25 years, not Saleen, Inc's. The press release cleverly makes you think that this is a Saleen vehicle. Talk to the people at Saleen - they'll make it clear for you...
Steve no longer works with Saleen, Inc. It was a "Mutual Parting of the Ways". Many disturbing rumors have been circulating about the reasons why, but those are for those who know the facts first-hand, to report on.
If I am not mistaken, his first outside venture had to do with cars made in China, that failed (big-time) US safety tests.
It
is good to see Steve finally put out such a high quality product. But the real test is getting it to the public. Neat car, but what's the point?
