My note to Mark at Krylon...

Mark,
Results in on the OEM: JASA FORD DIA9295 BLACK that I picked up in the DIA lacquer the other day. I tested the 50/50 mix meaning 50% lacquer thinner and 50% DIA9295 and used my detail gun to spray my test piece. The conclusions are that in comparison with Ford OEM paint on a part that I took right out of the wrapping is that the match is 100% on Fords color and sheen. Many people can do this with a detail gun but for the hobbyist it’s just convenience to be able to go to the parts store and just buy a bomb can right off the shelf and do what they have to do. I appreciate your taking and interest in this matter and on behalf of all hobbyists, Krylon is not only reliable but it is a product that is of the highest quality and we can tell you guys take pride in your products. I’m going resume testing on all the paints that I’ve ordered, when I get them and who knows maybe you won’t have to do anything with 1613 but to make it available once again.
